OMA-UCC Celebrates First UCC Graduate from Compass Points

During Consult XXI, Jennifer Geary of Irons Homestead shared her Capstone project for the Compass Points certificate program with those who were in attendance at the conference. This was her final project as part of the Capstone class and consisted of a proposal to Irons Homestead’s governing body for a new and innovative program idea that could be implemented into their ministry.

Jennifer proposed Project Grace, a program that integrates 3-4 campers who are currently homeless into each camp session at Irons Homestead.

Goals include:

The hope is to begin Project Grace during the summer of 2018. Fundraising, with a goal of $10,000, has already begun.
