OMA-UCC Membership Update

Hello supporters, dreamers and lovers of Outdoor Ministries!

It is again time to renew your OMA-UCC membership. Please see the information below regarding new membership prices as well as a reminder of what you get for your membership.

Your Board of Directors will be meeting in a few weeks, at Silver Lake Conference Center., Sharon, CT. We will be meeting with Bill Bourdon, our new Volunteer Executive Director, the PCCCA board, and planning Consult 2017, among other business. You will be hearing from your newly assigned Board member shortly, as part of our commitment to relationship building and good communication.

We invite you to renew your Outdoor Ministries Association membership for 2017

Program & Site Member - $285
* For programs with or without a site
* Benefits: Deering Grants, Member Benefits, discount for OMA events, participation Compass Points, Focus events, networking, quarterly e-news, eccumenical connections
* Note an $10 increase in membership fee, due to administrative cost increase.

Individual Member - $50
* For individuals who support the work of the Outdoor Ministries Association - UCC
* Benefits - Tax write off, supporting OMA-UCC, quarterly e-news, networking, eccumenical Connections

Please send your membership renewal form to OMA-UCC, Blowing Rock Conference Center, PO Box 2350, Blowing Rock, NH 28605. Once received, you will be mailed a letter, including the discount codes for the member benefits.

We are sending out a quarterly e-news for Directors, board members of outdoor Ministries programs, Conference Ministers, anyone who is interested in the wider work of Outdoor Ministries. If you are not receiving it, please email Mark Boyd.

We also have worked to update our website. New information is added often, so be sure to check out www.oma-ucc.org.

Consult 2017 will be held at Silver Lake Conference Center in Sharon, CT, on November 6- 10. Consult is the bi-annual gathering of camp and conference center leaders and supporters, of the UCC and eccumenical friends! It is a wonderful time of connecting with friends and colleagues for support, encouragement, ideas and education. More information will be found on www.oma-ucc.org. We are thrilled that Rev. John Dorhauer, President and General Minister of the UCC, will be joining us for Consult!

Whether you are a site director, camp enthusiast, or running a program without a site, we are thankful you are part of the Outdoor Ministries Association - UCC. We are seeing the need for safe and sacred places grow, where community is built and explored. Know that the Board holds you in prayer, and we ask for you to hold us in prayer as well. May you hold fast to the promises of our faith - God is with us, and working through us. Blessings as you prepare the way for a transformational summer.
